R.V.P.S. HOSTS “R.V.KALASIRI – 2020”

The year 2020 had R.V.Public School hosting it’s annual  inter-school event “ R.V. KALSIRI”.

This year’s KALASIRI “ Inter-School Puppet Making and Storytelling Event” was well attended by students from different schools in Bangalore.

The puppet making and storytelling competition comprised of two rounds. In the preliminary round,  as many as 40 students from classes III and IV made stick puppets and narrated  their moral stories in video form  during early November, 2020.      

Following a review of the presentations, 20 students were shortlisted for the second and final round which was held on the 28^th of November, 2020.  The final round had participants making their presentations on the theme of “Protecting Nature”.

The response to this competition was over-whelming .

 The winners for the final round were decided after a lot of brainstorming by the judges.

The results were as follows:-

First Prize :       Disha P (Mitra Academy ) ,

                               Tejas Hebbar  ( Podar International School, Bengaluru) .

Second Prize:   Akshitha A (Mitra Academy) ,

                            Saanvi Devendra Rahangdale( Podar International School, Bengaluru)

Consolation Prizes:    Anvitha Sharath (Mitra Academy),

                           John Simha (Gopalan Twinklers School )
