Kannada Rajyotsava

Karnataka Rajyotsava, also known as Karnataka State Day, is celebrated annually on 1st November in the Indian state of Karnataka. It commemorates the merger in 1956 of the Kannada-speaking regions of southwestern India under the States Reorganisation Act to form the state. It is marked by the announcement and presentation of the honours list for Rajyotsava Awards by the government of Karnataka, the hoisting of the Karnataka flag with an address from the chief minister and the governor of Karnataka, as well as community festivals, orchestra, Kannada book releases, and concerts.
Students, with the help of their Kannada teachers had put up a colourful cultural show which included dance, drama and songs.

ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2024 – 25

Annual Sports meet for the students of classes VI to X was held on 21^st November 2024 at Kittur Rani Chennamma Stadium, Jayanagar, Bengaluru. Sri. Shodhan Rai , International Natural Pro-Bodybuilder, Ekalavya awardee graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Sri Srinivas Gowda BV International Paralympic Athlete was the guest of honour. Mr.Naveen K Pasuparthy, a co-founder of the renowned Nanda Group and the Deputy Chairman of the Compound Livestock Feed Manufacturers Association (CLFMA) of India and chairman of RV Public School and Ms.Shakila R, Principal RV School were also present to encourage the students. 

Students participated in various sporting events and won medals and trophies for themselves and points for the house they represented. Parents were mesmerised by the displays put up by the displays put up by the children.  

Children’s Day Celebration

Children’s day is a beautiful occasion to cherish the innocence, creativity and limitless potentials that every child holds. RV public school celebrated children’s day with lots of enthusiasm and happiness. Children came dressed in colour dress; Various programs were organized for the students.  Teachers, sang, enacted and danced to show their love for their beloved students. The School had organized a Nursery to grade 3 – Puppet show by Ms. Yashoda

Grade 4 to 10 – Programme by Mr. Hulikal Nataraj to create scientific temper snacks and special goodies from the school management. It was a day full of joy and laughter for the students.

LEKITH B – VIVA VIBGYOR &  Young Cubers World Cube Championship

Lekith B of class VI participated in VIVA VIBGYOR, an inter-school competition conducted in VIBGYOR HIGH, Marathahalli on 9^th November 2024 and won the Qualifier Round 1 – Radiate in the Stars Ensemble.
He also participated in the Young Cubers World Cube Championship and secured the Gold medal in 3X3X3 under 14 category held on 19^th and 20^th October 2024.

SRISHA PB KARATE 

15^th State level Sub-junior Karate Championship 2024

Srisha P B of class III  participated in the 15^th State level Sub-junior Karate Championship 2024 organised by Akhila Karnataka Sports Karate Association at Bengaluru on 14^th and 15^th September 2024 and secured the silver medal in female individual Kumite in under 30 Kg 8 years category.

3^rd State Level I.S.K.A Karate Championship 2024

Srisha P B also participated in the 3^rd State Level I.S.K.A Karate Championship 2024 organised by the Indian Shotokan Karate – Do Association held on 10^th November 2024 at Jnanaganga International School, Bengaluru and secured the Gold medal in Female Individual Kata 8 years category and secured the first place in Female individual Kumite under 30 Kg 8 years category.

Excursion to Chitradurga – Class VII

The students of class VII were taken on a trip to Chitradurga on 7^th November 2024. The students had a fun time travelling with their friends and exploring the fort and other places. 

SAPA Workshop

A musical workshop was organised by SAPA for the students of grades 1 to 4 on 27^th November 2024. The workshop was conducted by renowned artist Pandit Ghantasala Satya Sai.
