Celebrating the hero of every child – Father’s day celebration – Nursery wing

The nursery wing of the school celebrated father’s day on 13th July 2024. Special programs were organized for the fathers in which they participated with their wards.  

Health Check up

A preventive health check up for the students of all the classes was conducted in school in collaboration with the Address Health organisation. The check up was  held to screen the students’ health, evaluate and suggest remedies. This initiative was taken as healthy children are happy children. 

Idhant Shashwat and Vihaan Shashwat – Swimming their way to Glory 

Idhant Shashwat of class X won 2 golds and 1 silver  and Vihaan Shashwat of class VIII won 3 golds and the individual trophy in the CISCE Swimming and Diving Championship 2024 – Karnataka hosted by Amrita International Vidyalayam, Choodasandra, Bengaluru from 19^th July to 21^st July 2024. Both Idhant and Vihaan will be representing karnataka in the CISCE National Games 2024.

Inter-House competitions – 5^th July 2024

As a continuation to the inter-house competitions of the year 2024, various  art competitions were held for the students of classes 5 to 10. Best out of waste competition  was conducted for the students of class5, Quilling for the students of class 6, boys of class 7 had face painting competition, while the girls had embroidery competition. Students of class 8 had showcased their painting talent in landscape painting competition, students of class 9 proudly presented their culinary skills in cooking without fire competition and the boys and girls of class 10 competed with each other in digital poster making competition. 

CISCE Games & Sports 2024 – Karate

Prisha PB of class X represented RV Public school in CISCE Games & Sports 2024 at the regional level held at Christ School (CBSE) on 8^th July 2024 and 9^th July 2024  and secured the second position in Kumite Under 17 (60 – 64 Kg) category. 

India Book of Records Achiever

Samarth Nandagudi. U of class VII was titled as India Books of Records Achiever for receiving 25 certificates and 10 medals for participating in various competitions at the age of 12 years. 

Inter-school competition – Expressions 2024 

Our students participated in the inter-school competiiton ‘Expressions 2024’ conducted by Sri Rama Vidyalaya, Jaynagar and have won prizes for themselves accolades for the school.Syed Adeeb of class X won the first position  in  ‘On the Spot English Essay writing Competition’ conducted on 2^nd July 2024  and Kanishka and Chahat of class X participated in the ‘Debate competition’ conducted on 5^th July 2024  and won third and fourth positions respectively.

Inter-house English Literary Competition – 27^th July 2024

As a continuation to the inter-house competitions, English literary activities were conducted for the students of classes I to IV.

Students of class I recited poems and the students of class II narrated a story with a moral. Class III students showcased their oratory skills by looking at a picture and speaking about in Image Portrayal Competition. Students of class IV narrated the profile of a cartoon character.

Sadik Verma – Versatile award at  RSAI National Virtual Cube & Tangram Championship 2024

Sadik Verma of class ____ participated in the RSAI National Virtual Cube & Tangram Championship 2024, held on 29^th  & 30^th June 2024 and was awarded versatile award for outstanding performance. 

Vaibhav Rao Nandikolla – Badminton

Vaibhav Rao Nandikolla of class … participated in the Yonex- Sunrise Karnataka State Mini Under 11 & Sub- Junior Under 13 Ranking Tournament -2024 held at DYES, Kanteerva Stadium. Bengaluru, Karnataka from 10^th July 2024 to 15^th July 2024 and emerged as winner in Under 11 boys doubles and semi-finalist in Under 11 boys singles category.
