Engineer’s Day 2021
India celebrates Engineer’s Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of the greatest Indian Engineer, Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, on September 15 every year. It is celebrated to pay tributes to Bharath Ratna Visvesvaraya who was regarded as the ‘Father of Modern Mysore’. A prolific civic engineer, educationist, economist, scholar of the 20th century, Visvesvaraya made significant contributions in the field of engineering.
Students of class 7 organised a short program on 15 September during the morning assembly.
Amogh of 7 A, gave a speech. He spoke about the contributions made by Sir M Visvesvaraya in the field of engineering.
Pratik Simha of 7 B, presented a PPT and explained about the contributions of Sir M Visvesvaraya.
Saba Fathima of 7 C shared pictures and gave a speech. Sreeyash of 7 C gave a speech on Engineer’s Day.
