Educational trip – Vishweshwaraiah Museum
Class IV
6th August 2022
Students of class IV were taken on an educational trip to the art gallery at the Vishweshwaraiah Museum on 6th August 2022. Students learnt about different forms of art and artists of different eras. It was both an educative and an enjoyable trip for the students.
KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION
18th August 2022
Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated by the preprimary on 18th August 2022. Children were dressed up as Radhas and Krishnas. Few children sang shlokas, songs, narrated stories on Krishna. children also brought fruits and it is given as Prasad to all preprimary children. UKG children spoke about the festival in the school assembly. The pre-primary children stood in front of the school and wished everyone a happy Janmashtami. Children were told about the importance of festival . Pre-nursery children did pot decoration, UKG children made a crown using blue, green and yellow colour glitter paper. LKG children were made to do flute as a take away home activity.
An Educational Trip to Bannerghatta zoological Park
Date: 27th August 2022 Classes 1 & 2
Students of classes 1 and 2 visited Bannerghatta zoological Park on 27th August 2022. It was an amazing trip after the long lockdown of two years; the trip was successful in bringing back happiness and excitement in students. Children learnt about animals saw them in close proximity.
Visit To Lalbagh Flower Show
Students were taken on a visit to Lalbagh flower show on the 10th, 11th and 12th August 2022 . Children visited the glasshouse and enjoyed the flower show which was dedicated to Dr. Raj Kumar family.
Children saw different varieties and colourful flowers, butterflies, fish and birds. Children enjoyed the nature walk.
Rakshabandan celebration
Raksha bandhan was celebrated by the students of pre-primary on 11th August 2022 . Children of nursery and UKG made Rakhis using satin tape and glitter paper flower outline of different coloured glitter papers and children were asked to stick the flower was stuck on the tape. Children were asked to take the Rakhi home for their siblings.
Student achievement – CISCE National sports and games
Our students Idhant Shashwat Chaturvedi of class 8 A and Chinmai C Anand of class 9 B have made us proud by winning medals at the regional level of CISCE National Sports &Games 2022
Chinmai C Anand has secured first position in the U-17 (41 – 45 kg) category in Taekwondo held at Trio world School from 17th August 2022 to 18th August 2022 and Idhant Shashwat Chaturvedi has secured second position in Under-14 100m Backstroke, first position in Under -14 50m backstroke first position in Under-14200m Backstroke held in Karnataka from 9th August 2022 to 10th August 2022.
