Krishna Janmashtami Celebrations – 2021

The students of class 9 B celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with great enthusiasm.

The program was conducted on 31st morning during the assembly. We started the program with the school prayer. Adithya Shenoy read the news headlines, followed by Adya PN reading the thought for the day.

A special presentation was made by Pravruti to express her devotion to Lord Krishna and Charu Hasini narrated the story of the birth of Lord Krishna.

Pravruti had also made a drawing of Lord Krishna which was displayed in the presentation.

Krishna Janmashtami Pre-primary

The pre-primary children of RV public school celebrated Krishna Janmashtami on 27/08/2021. Children were dressed as Krishna and Radha during their online class. Teachers of pre-primary celebrated Krishna Janmashtami in school.  An idol of Krishna was decorated with flowers and our Principal ma’am, Mrs. Lakshmi Sridhar, lighted the lamp and performed the puja.

The importance of Krishna Janmashtami was told to the students by the teachers. Rakshith of UKG B and Nidhi of LKG A were dressed as Krishna and Radha. An activity of breaking the pot was done by Rakshith. The children of UKG recited shlokas and few of them narrated stories related to lord Krishna.

 Teachers showed how to make head gear using the colour paper and chart paper. LKG and Nursery children were taught to make flute as class activity. Students participated enthusiastically and made colourful flutes.

Janmashtami marks the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It was celebrated on the 30th of August 2021. On the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, R V Public school conducted activities for the students of class 3 and 4.

Class 3 and 4 students made craft work out of paper and clay. They decorated flutes, pots of butter, sang hyms on Lord Krishna and danced around as Radha searching for Lord Krishna.

Nishanth Rao enacted as Lord Krishna and told the story. Syed Faizan danced by dressing up like Krishna, Amogha dressed like Krishna and Dhanvi is dressed like Radhe.

Poorvika drew the picture of Lord Krishna, Kulakarnika Madhurima dressed herself as Radhe and sang a song, Varshitha-dressed as Radhe and performed a dance, Pratham sang a Bhajan, Keerthi made a beautiful crown, Thanip Raju displayed a drawing, Rishab  Kanakagiri presented a   song from YouTube. Lithanyashree and Aadhya sang songs on Krishna, while other students took part in the craft of making colourful crown, cradle, pot with butter. Pranav and Dheeraj were dressed as Lord Krishna while Saanvi Patel danced gracefully to the tune on Lord Krishna.
