First Day of School- 3rd June 2024
RV Public School reopened after summer break on 3rd June 2024 for the students of classes I to VIII. The students of classes IX and X were attending classes from 29th May 2024. The school and the classrooms were decorated to welcome the students. The Students were welcomed by the Principal, Mrs. Lakshmi Sridhar during the morning assembly. She advised the students to start on a positive note with zeal and enthusiasm and hoped that the students had a relaxed vacation and were recharged and ready to start a new school year. She wished all the students a very best for the new school year.
The nursery section of the school reopened on 5th June 2024 for the students. The students were welcomed with colourful cartoons, photo booths and slides.
ENVIRONMENT DAY – 5H JUNE 2024
Every year on 5th June, World Environment day is observed across the world to raise awareness about degrading environmental conditions and to encourage people to take positive environmental actions and help create a better future. Resonating with the theme for the year’s environment day, “Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience”, the students of classes IX & X had put up a flash mob at Krishna Rao Park to create awareness among the public.
Assembly activities were held and saplings were distributed to the students to commemorate the occasion.
International yoga day
International yoga day aims to educate people worldwide about the extensive health benefits of yoga .it is an opportunity to introduce a practice that can profoundly benefit students physical, mental and wellbeing. It symbolizes the unity of mind and body thought and action restrain and fulfillment, harmony between human and nature and a holistic approach. At RV public school children of primary performed breathing exercise and yoga asanas under the guidance of the teachers. Children were enriched with the knowledge of yoga and its importance.
International Yoga Day – 21st June 2024
The Students and staff of RV Public School enthusiastically participated in the celebration of International Yoga Day.
The day commenced with an invigorating yoga session where our students actively participated in various asanas and breathing exercises. The session focused on promoting physical health, mental well-being and inner peace through the practice of yoga. The session provided a platform for them to experience the benefits of yoga firsthand and inspired them to continue their journey towards a healthy lifestyle. Activities were conducted for the students of the school including the students of the nursery wing and NCC Cadets.
Writing his way to Glory
Samarth Nandagudi of class VII had participated in the India Talent Contest (ITC 2024) in the story writing competition category conducted by Samay News Agency held on 12th May 2024 and had secured the third place in the age category 12- 20 years.
SOF- International Social Science Olympiad Achievers (2023-24)
Abhinav Bhupal, Arjit Chand and Aryan Raj N of class 3 achieved the gold medal of distinction and Jeeshan sai Mallireddy class 3 bagged the gold medal of excellence in the International Social Science Olympiad (2023 -24) held at school level.
Ms. Sindhu D N, Teacher RV Public School was acknowleged fore her commitment and valuable contributuion in successful administration of SOF- International Social Science Olympiad (2023-24).
Election Process and Investiture Ceremony 2024- 25
Student Nominees for the post of captain and Vice-captain were introduced on 18th June 2024.
The nominees for the post of school head boy and head girl from class X introduced themselves to their fellow students on 18th June 2024 and justified themselves as why they were capable and what they would do if they are elected.
Elections – 20th June 2024
Students from classes V to X cast their vote in favour of their favourite candidates for the posts of Head Boy and Head Girl of the school in a democratic way.
Investiture Ceremony 2024 – 26th June 2024
The Investiture Ceremony 2024-25 successfully inducted the newly elected and selected members of RV Public School’s prefectural board on 26 th June 2024 amidst the applause and cheer of the students, parents and teachers. Our school Principal Mrs. Lakshmi Sridhar imbibed the spirit of ‘Soaring High’ while administering the oath to the Prefectural Board. The student’ council members are as follows.

Distribution of NCC A Certificates
NCC A Certificate was awarded to the cadets of batches 2022-23 and 23-24 on 26th June 2024 by the Principal of RV Public school. This certificate was awarded to the students after their completion of 2 years NCC training course and passing the examination conducted for this purpose by NCC authorities.
SOF FELICITATION
The Principal of RV Public School, Ms. Lakshmi Sridhar was felicitated with the SOF Best District Principal Award (2023-24)in acknowledgement of her vision, leadership qualities and academic initiatives on account of with the students of the school exhibited outstanding performance at the district level Olympiad exams in Karnataka along with organising competitive exams.
Ms. Reshma Khanum was felicitated with the SOF Best Overall Coordinator Award 2023-24 for her involvement in organising and successfully conducting the Olympiad exams.
